Rafting near Mumbai happens on the Kundalika river. We offer three ways of experiencing rafting with us.

The first, is just the rafting trip. You get there on your own, and organise your own trip, except for the river run, which will be conducted by our staff. This option costs about Rs.1,100/- per head on the weekends and Rs. 900/- on other days. You will be expected to arrive at the location by 7am.

The other option would be to book a two day thing with a stay in a resort, or camping out or even combine it with some rock climbing training or a rappelling experience. Owing to the variable choices you might make, there is no standard price, but options range from Rs.2,500/- to Rs.4,000/- for two days, including transport, adventure activity, accommodation and meals.

This is a good choice for those who'd like to have an exceptional time, and would prefer not to handle all the organisation themselves.

A sample itinerary would be:

Day 1:

  • Leave Mumbai in the morning to reach the resort/campsite for a late lunch.
  • Some time to relax and refresh
  • Evening session of rappelling or rock climbing
  • Tea
  • Free time at the pool
  • Dinner

Day 2:

  • Wake up early - about 5:30 am with bed tea and biscuits
  • Early breakfast (quite hurried - or we can pack it)
  • Leave for the rafting site by 6:30am
  • Reach rappelling site, allottment of equipment - rafts, life jackets, helmets, paddles, etc.
  • Explanation of use of safety systems, common commands, demonstration, and practice in placid waters
  • The actual rafting run
  • Reach the end of run, return to starting point to collect belongings left behind and change clothes
  • Return to the resort for a late lunch
  • Some free time for packing, etc.
  • Leave for Mumbai.

For those who opt only for the river run, the description of the rafting is the same, but transportation and meals will not be provided.

If you wish to book a trip, it is important to make bookings at least 2 weeks ahead of time, as there is a great demand (particularly on weekends) and seats may not be available.

You may contact us for bookings or further enquiries.

Quote of the moment

He felt that his whole life was some kind of dream and he sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it.
