Rafting near Mumbai happens on the Kundalika river. We offer three ways of experiencing rafting with us.
The first, is just the rafting trip. You get there on your own, and organise your own trip, except for the river run, which will be conducted by our staff. This option costs about Rs.1,100/- per head on the weekends and Rs. 900/- on other days. You will be expected to arrive at the location by 7am.
The other option would be to book a two day thing with a stay in a resort, or camping out or even combine it with some rock climbing training or a rappelling experience. Owing to the variable choices you might make, there is no standard price, but options range from Rs.2,500/- to Rs.4,000/- for two days, including transport, adventure activity, accommodation and meals.
This is a good choice for those who'd like to have an exceptional time, and would prefer not to handle all the organisation themselves.
We conduct white water rafting on the river Kundalika near Kolad on the Mumbai Goa highway. In the absence of true white water, we have organized this activity at predetermined timings on the flow of the waters released from the dam at Bhire. The resultant “white-water” is not just thrilling, but we have been able to study it well from the point of view of safety. The added advantage is that this location is about a two hour drive from both Mumbai and Pune.
Explore the hidden kingdom of Ladakh and travel further into the heart of the scenic Himalaya, to end your tour in Kashmir, often called "paradise on earth". Do bring along a camera, as the visions in your mind will always fall short of words when telling folks back home.
This is a very popular, moderate trekking route to the incredibly beautiful Chandratal - The Lake of the Moon in the Himalayan highlands. The route begins at Manali, crosses over the Hampta Pass, and travels along the mighty Chandra river to its origin. This trek is best done from July to September, though it is possible from mid-June to October (depending on weather)
If you believe in the spiritual power of the Himalaya, this is a trek that is also a pilgrimage of the spirit. The mountain, shaped like a lingam, has enormous religious significance enchanced by the ever changing colours of the mountain in the changing light of the day. The serene, but demanding trail is perfect for reasonably fit individuals - a formidable but highly rewarding route through the mountains.
When a traveller returneth home, let him not leave the countries where he hath travelled altogether behind him.
