himalaya Manali is a small town on the bank of the river Beas, in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
An important trekking hub of the western Himalaya, Manali serves as a gateway or converging point for travellers to Ladakh, Lahaul, Spiti, Banjar and Kangra through the many trekking and travelling options available from here. The town itself is rather small, but it boasts of most modern facilities geared to the traveller. Internet cafes, money exchanges, restaurants, travel and tour agents abound, and most facilities accept credit cards as well. A few mobile networks provide service here as well, and the tiny town has on offer, many facilities available in a small neighbourhood in a city, with the added advantage of being able to walk for about a kilometer ina ny direction to find oneself in natural beauty.
