Adventure is a need of the human spirit. And when we say adventure, we are thinking of experiences that are off the beaten track. We all like to go beyond the known, test our limits and get our dose of adrenaline, or soothing tranquility. We pit ourselves against its elements, draw inspiration from its glory, or simply rejuvenate our spirits. Whatever your interest, Wide Aware is has something that hits the mark.

Most adventure companies offer a variety of adventure experiences. So Wide Aware does something different. We have worked in this profession for many years now, and feel that there needs to be a space for designing our own adventures. Designing adventure experiences is not as difficult as it sounds, and there is no need to follow a standard scale that defines what adventure can be.

Wide Aware tries to understand you as a person, and offer and adapt experiences we think would suit your interests and abilities closely. Most of our clients are from around Pune and Mumbai in India, but that is because Wide Aware is located in Borivli, Mumbai, Maharashtra and we are known better around here. There is nothing that stops you from connecting with us, now that you have found us.

Broadly speaking, our outdoor adventure services can be divided into these categories:

• Adventure sports and experiences near Mumbai - these are quick outings or training sessions intended to serve as introductions to different ways of enjoying the outdoors as well as offbeat Mumbai day trips. Most of these can be experienced in the form of weekend getaways from Mumbai and Pune.
• Wildlife tours - We offer wildlife tours to a variety of sanctuaries and remote areas of India. This section is currently under development, but stay tuned for detailed additions. Meanwhile, if there is wildlife, we go there, regardless of whether it is listed or not.
• Programmes for educational institutions - We are firm believers in the value of the outdoors in enriching childhood and helping enhance the overall development of a person. Toward this end, we provide a wide range of programmes for schools and colleges for students, as well as teacher training programmes based on experiential learning.
• Corporate recreation and training programmes in the outdoors - corporates are increasingly tapping into the power of the outdoors in bringing people together, bringing out nuances of relationships and bonding teams through shared experiences. Wide Aware conducts corporate off-sites for both training and recreation.
• Himalayan Tours - this section of Wide Aware is not intended to be like most other Himalayan tour operators. Offerings in our Himalayan, and other tours are based on our own experiences in these lands, and are designed to provide an insight into the life of the people there, and a deep interaction with the land itself. You are unlikely to find sightseeing tours, or "popular routes" and we don't ever intend to offer those.

Other, offerings include media services like designing websites, producing films, and promoting businesses or anything else that you would like to present to the world.

Wide Aware also offers services in developing adventure infrastructures like artificial climbing walls, ropes courses, camping sites and environmentally friendly farms.

But Wide Aware is not only about services. Its about an enjoyment of the outdoors. There is a transparency in our operations, and there is much you can share with us without ever paying us anything at all. In the virtual live, there is an abundance of free outdoor articles, the adventure as usual blog, itineraries, pictures from adventure outings and more.

Wide Aware was started by Vidyut Kale and Raghavendra Kale - two highly experienced professionals in the outdoors, as a means of promoting the aspects of the outdoor and natural life that they love. If you're looking for a bulk of preformatted tours, this site is likely to confuse you. If you're in search of an unending wealth of outbound experiences that will change the very person you are, you need to bookmark this site - one visit is unlikely to be enough!

This site is about the love of the outdoors, genuine experiences, and promoting this wealth of memories that has benifitted us for years. There is plenty to interest all sorts people and absolutely no obligation to ever buy our services.
