Adventure for students

Adventure programmes for students are scaled down versions of adventure training, designed to accommodate children's abilities while providing a valid experience of the sport in question. A variety of sports are covered, but the chief ones are rock climbing, sport climbing, rappelling, nature trails, white water rafting (for students 13 years/40 kg and above) and orienteering.
The demanding nature of the rock climbing training means that we usually include them as a part of adventure camps, which gives us time to build the determination that this effort demands. Other wise, all these can be conducted as one day escapades or as elements in an adventure camp.
Our objective behind these programmes is to encourage students to try out off-beat challenges and rewarding pursuits that develop in them a sense of adventure and determination to conquer challenges. We also like to see a new generation of responsible adventurers develop.

Through adventure tours children explore their boundaries, develop resilience and confidence in themselves. They learn to be responsible for themselves and participate in a larger group on their own initiative.
Some of our efforts with schools include on going adventure instruction as a series of regular sessions that can help develop high levels of aptitude. We also encourage students to gain official qualifications in the various sports and compete on national and international levels.
More usual are one day adventure programmes for classes to introduce them to mountaineering and other adventure sports. Chief among these are our one-day rock climbing and one-day rappelling.
Exploring horizons
Children are naturals at seeking new horizons. They adapt readily and thrive in situations where they can test their budding capabilities and enrich their knowledge of the world around them. Adventure programmes for children bring these opportunities within their reach.
